Intensives
Go deeper, with the time and space your healing deserves.

What Is a Therapy Intensive?

A therapy intensive is an extended, three-hour session that allows us to explore an important concern with more time, space, and continuity than a traditional weekly session. Using an Internal Family Systems–informed approach, we gently identify and understand the protective and wounded parts connected to what you are experiencing—without rushing or forcing the process.

Who Is It Best For?

An intensive may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel stuck around a specific experience, pattern, or decision

  • Want to explore something more deeply than a standard session allows

  • Are navigating grief, a life transition, relationship concerns, anxiety, or unresolved emotional pain

  • Already have insight into an issue but want dedicated time to work with it

  • Prefer focused therapeutic work because weekly scheduling is difficult

You do not need previous experience with IFS to participate.

What Else Should I Know?

The session is thoughtfully paced and may include grounding, reflection, experiential IFS work, breaks, and time to integrate what emerges. An intensive is not about fitting three sessions into one or pushing you toward a breakthrough. Depth comes from having enough time to slow down, listen inward, and work at the pace your nervous system can safely support.

Before scheduling, we will briefly discuss your goals, current needs, and whether an intensive feels clinically appropriate. Intensives are not intended for immediate crisis support and may complement—but do not automatically replace—ongoing therapy.
